So this is really cool.  It’s a website that gives a home’s location a score based on its proximity to stores, restaurants, schools, parks, etc.  It’s called, you guessed it, Walk Score.

Try your address out and see what score it comes up with.  My brother’s place in DC got an 86, my mom’s place a 6! (she lives in the woods) and my loft in St Paul, MN came up with a 92!  not too shabby.

This could quickly become a great tool for realtors, homeowners, and particularly those keeping the door open to a future move.

Do me a favor… leave a comment under this post with YOUR walk score and what city you live in… I’m curious to see what people come up with.
